Dear Mark Wish i knew at the time how much of an impact you would have on rest of my life so i could have told you at time even if it would have been over 1 of our many drunken chats talking about anything and everything. We had played a few seasons together in footy and with our similar sense of humour it was inevitable that we clicked.Usually found us sat together after game in pub winding some 1 up from team or who ever happened to be in vicinity at time. The time you knocked my door and said you had a months work away and could i leave tomorrow could not have happened at a better time in my life as i was in a right sticky rut.Mad thing was if you had knocked a few days earlier i wouldnt have been able to go.Anyway away we went and had a ball travelling to the different cities in England shopfitting driving and chatting for hours you definitely gave me a new take on life that i never had before. Then when we came home that summer of 94 was 1 of our better 1s weather wise so we spent alot of time relaxing usually out my mums garden drinking tea thinking up ways to get some money to get out for a few beers over the cow or railway in the evening. If 1 of us came into a few quid we would always club it together and work out to the penny if we had enough for 3 or 4 pints ha.Friends i had grown up with would have shared my money then kept their own it was nice to have a friend with similar values. Having spent so much time with you i changed my whole outlook on life and the way i looked at people and through you i met my wife and then had my 4 beautiful kids and i know for a fact that wouldnt have happened without your influence and when ever we are reminiscing you always come into the conversation so you will never be forgotten in my family. Anyway just want you to know how much i respected and admired you and everything i have today i owe a lot to you just gutted that we never kept in touch but 1 day we will get chance to catch up properly club our pennies together and try and get 3 beers in each again. Jai xx
