Mark was joke factor, one of those happy go lucky fella's from the moment I met him I thought that we'd get along, even though he did support Liverpool(LOL). My initial encounter with Mark was surprisingly down the pub(The Henry Addington) in Canary Wharf he'd been working alongside another colleague(Steve Joel) for a short while, I seem to recollect it being around Xmas time. I think Steve may had briefed him regarding one of my loves which is card magic but as can sometimes be the case you don't really know what's in store or what to expect. A few beers later I think Mark was expecting to see the bog standard pub tricks that everyone knows instead I gave him the bog standard Brashier card tricks. After a few complimentary words of amazement during the performance I left him completed dumbfounded mouth opened and speechless I could have virtually fished him out of the boozer with a hook - I think I said to him you've been done Mr Canning you've been done. We never looked back after that day and reconnected many many many times afterwards, he was an awesome guy and one of those really nice guys you come across every now and again and he will be missed.
