When I started at Clifford Chance, Mark was one of the first guys to welcome me into the team, first question was did I like football...well obviously the answer was yes...many debates on Liverpool v Chelsea ensued. I can still remember a three way conversation when Mark was talking about the need to use moisteriser because his face would often dry up, I tried to give him stick about this about how 'real men' don't use it, his quick reposte was had I checked in the mirror lately and perhaps I may need to use it. Fair point well made, we often found ourselves in fits of laughter after our chats. A nicer guy you could not wish to meet, Mark you will be sorely missed, be at peace.
