It is so hard to believe we no longer have Mark's stories and kindness to brighten our days. And he brightened so many days. From day one when we met at work, he was generous and genuine, giving up his comfy office desk so I had somewhere to work. Mark would do anything for anyone and everyone navigated towards him when they needed a shoulder to cry on or a friendly ear to listen. He was definitely the "Mum" of the office as he cared for everyone and kept everyone's spirits up. Those stories! We laughed so much, to the point of tears. It was so clear that Mark was devoted to his family and I loved to hear him talk about Sophie and the playgroup soap operas. If Sophie just knows that Daddy was the most genuine man I have ever known, and follows his mould, she will be OK forever.
